2011 Ghoul Pool

Rules and FAQs

Names in bold face are on multiple lists. For easy reference, the entrant numbers of those lists will be found after the name (in parenthesis, and in a purple font).

Names of the * cough * deceased will appear in a bold red font.  The ‘No-Body Snatching’ Rule (which should be called something like the ‘body-snatching handicap’ rule since it does permit body snatching) states that IF you place someone on your list who was ANOTHER ghoul’s list last year, the ORIGINAL Ghoul gets full points for a hit, but you get HALF points. Body-Snatched selections are denoted by a green font. So, for instance, BETTY WHITE is worth 13 points to Entrant 13, but 6.5 to Entrant 7. Although they should BOTH be ashamed for putting Betty White on their lists. What the hell is wrong with you people? It’s possible that most or all of the Body Snatching this year was done strategically (figuring half points for somebody who dies is better than no points for somebody who didn’t (“a loser”), or betting that another Ghoul was going to get bored with picking the annoyingly sturdy Kirk Douglas year after year), rather than inadvertently.
